Peanut Butter Cookies: Nutty & Buttery…

How can something be nutty, crunchy, buttery, and chocolatey at the same time? There is only one way to find out, make these beautiful cookies and let me know if they pass this test!

Recipe

Ingredients (Makes 12 – 16)

Crunchy Peanut butter 250 grams
Golden caster sugar 100 grams
Egg 1
Dark cooking chocolate 150 grams
Roasted peanuts  100 grams

Method:

  1. Mix peanut butter, sugar, and egg and make into a dough
  2. Divide equally into 12-16 portions
  3. With oiled hands, roll them into balls and gently press them on a lined baking tray
  4. Bake them for 35 mins at 150 degrees C in a fan oven
  5. Take them out and completely cool them on a wire rack
  6. Dip half of the cookie into the melted chocolate and sprinkle chopped roasted peanuts
  7. Place them in a tray for chocolate to set at room temperature for 30 mins
  8. Enjoy with tea or coffee, if anything left then store in an airtight container

Tips and Other Notes:

  1. Cool the baked cookies completely before dipping them in chocolate, otherwise, they will stay soggy
  2. You can use any other nuts or flavours as well
  3. Depending on the size of the cookie, you need to adjust the baking time
